PHOTO DIARY FOR YOUNG OFFENDERS
One-day Workshops (3 hours sessions or longer by arrangement)
2008: dates available for London Young Offending Teams
London boroughs
£50 per hour
FACILITIES
Equipment essential to these workshops is one or more compact digital cameras, an inkjet printer, Adobe Photoshop software and the use of a PC or Mac computer for retouching, printing and storage.
If clients are allowed to use a computer for sending supervised emails and some of their images, they can benefit from sharing these images with people and groups they may want to involve with making photos in their own time.
Photo workshops need to include access to at least one computer at YOT centres, to allow image retouching display and storage. There is a portable flash system I am willing to bring some equipment including a portable flash systmeinto YOT centres to assist with lighting techniques; other than this, I cannot supply or contribute other photo equipment to workshop sessions.
For a list of inexpensive cameras and photographic equipment needed to offer young offenders to use during sessions, please contact James with your budget figures.
