BASIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
4 week WORKSHOP (6pm-8.30pm)
David Game College: 69 Notting Hill Gate
London W11
£250
This simple yet comprehensive course is designed for people with very basic digital cameras with limited automated functions. The trouble with basic digital compacts is that they often don't have menus for manual settings, so unless you can work out what is actually going on, it can be dificult to know the best settings to get good pictures.
In this workshop you are going to learn the basics of digital photography, relative to your own camera and what you can do with it. Taught by Peter Tweedie, who has extensive retail camera sales experience in simple point and shoot cameras (as well as being a professional using more complex equipment), you will learn and practice a fun series of techniques to get the best out of your camera, however simple it is.
If you're thinking of moving up to a compact or DSLR with more features, this is still a good place to start. You will be set a series of assignments for homework, and be given handouts to practice from and learn more shooting and interpretive photographic skills.
This is our most simple and basic workshop which (together with the one day 'Digital Photography Made Simple') offers a friendly and easy to understand training in how to take good digital photos in the simplest and easiest way.
